Back in the saddle AGAIN...

So I'm doing it...again. I'm resurrecting the blog to try to keep myself motivated and involved and all that jazz with my weight loss...again.

Again seems to be a theme with me today. I am constantly having to do things "again" because I either didn't do it right the first time or reverted back to my old habits. So now for the pronouncement of change! I will behave myself, watch my calories, work out and make this happen! (Again! Told you there was a theme here :) )

That all said...working out hurts. All the pain and frustration that I had beat through over the past two years is attacking me. Did I forget that shin splints hurt? Why yes, I forget how excruciating they can be! Did I forget that my right ankle turns out when I've just found my running rhythm? Why yes I did! Did I forget not to keep my arms lowered and my hands unclinched while running? Yep...that too. Amazing what a year off and a pregnancy sabbatical will do for a girl. My muscles are mush. Looks like I'm going to have to do this from the ground up again. So I'm off to dig out my C25K podcasts and work this tush back from obese to a gratifyingly sexy overweight on the BMI charts.

Good for you!!! You can do it. You know you can do it.

Clinched fists while running? Wow, I am guilty of that.
I am more of a power walker, but the past few days I've divided it up and do some jogging, too. I do keep a fist, I've noticed. Why is that bad?

I can't wait to read about your progress. :)
Have you ever tried the 30 Day Shred? It kicked my butt this summer. Got me back to my goal weight, even under.

Every time I get back to working out I almost give up because of the pain. I started Jillian Michaels' 30 Day Shred and I barely get through the first day. It gets easier, but boy it's tough.

You can do it, though! It is worth pushing for. :)
